Beautiful view. Worth a quick stop.

Living so close by I don't know why I've never taking advantage of coming here more often. Came here today when its winter and we've just had some snow come through. Not too many people and great views to just walk around and take your mind off things. You can also cross over the river using the riverfront trail from here.

The park has the potential to be nice. It is Riverside. Great stop for photos. The grass was overgrown. It was littered. Looks like it could use a little upkeep. It is behind the industrial area and the Google maps actually takes you to the industrial park and you have to cross a concrete barrier to get in. The entrance to the park was about a block further from the Google map entrance. It was a great place for a photo with Kansas City behind you.

The only thing that was awesome about this place was the view! The city needs to keep it maintained! And it wouldn’t hurt to have the park police keep watch over this area. The new tech walkway by the parking is coming apart in places & bouncy. A lot of overgrown weeds, graffiti, trash, smelly, some of the information signs are scratched out, a dead chicken or some kind of bird over by the stone monuments! Just so sad! A huge disappointment & very embarrassing for KC!

Lewis and Clark camped here once
I don't think so at that point, but elsewhere on the Kansas river should be okay.
Yes, its a great place for kids to run around. Just keep an eye on them down by the rivers.
