Get to, kids play football and basketball here all the time. Sometimes their is a fight or 2. No shootings in the last 3 years PCSO has tried to clean up the park some I guess it has worked. Plenty to do here tons of space for everyone.

This place is garbage. Used to be a right decent park, but between the trouble making teenagers and the fact the county apparently decided it's easier to remove broken/ damaged equipment or just slap an old road sign or boards in place, it's gone down hill. Majorly. Most of the "exercise equipment" is gone as well. Unless you just want to go for a walk around the loops or play in the grass, there isn't much left.

I always enjoy going to this place whether I'm riding a bike walking my dog or going to sit on a bench and read a book that's a very nice place to enjoy a quiet evening walk.

A great place to go fly a kite says my youngest. We also watched a guy fly a little RC plane around. It’s an over all nice, open space except nearer the parking lot. Great walking trail. Poor marks for where someone let their dog dig a hole at the picnic tables and usage of the N-word on the court.

The first loop is 1,340 ft, second loop is 925 ft and the third loop is 1,150 ft.
There is very limited access to the lake so it doesn't matter much. However, it is located in Florida and you should assume every body of water has gators in it. There is only clear access to the lake on the north end where you may or may not find a gator sunning itself in someone's yard. If you are concerned about gators on the playground that's highly unlikely. If you want to see one, you may or may not find one from the north end. If you are lucky enough to find one just respect the fact that you are in it's home and admire from a distance.
The park website says, The trail distance from the parking area through all 3 fitness stations is 3,750 ft. The first loop is 1,340 ft, second loop is 925 ft and the third loop is 1,150 ft.
What i think. Its a nice park BUT to many drug deals go in there. Seen it myself.
Yes they have bathrooms and water fountain but I recommend you bring your own water.
