I was extremely disappointed with my vehicle movement by Alaska Car Transport. My vehicle expeditiously moved from Alaska to Washington as discussed with the consultant I worked with. It then sat at the port for 14 days before it was picked up for truck movement to my final destination. On the Alaska Car Transport website, the average time of movement from my departure location to my final destination, is 13 days. My vehicle sat at the port for more time than the total average shipment time. When I decided to use Alaska Car Transport my consultant informed me delivery times are estimates. Because of that, we agreed to drop off my vehicle earlier than planned to ensure it was delivered by the date I required it. As mentioned, the vehicle sat for 14 days with no update from the company or the transportation provider. This caused me to have to change work / personal plans to accommodate the late delivery of my vehicle. Alaska Car Transport’s cost to move my vehicle was high, but the counselor was confident my vehicle arrival timeline would meet my needs. Had I known how slow the movement and delivery would be, I would have used another company. The service was most certainly not worth the cost. I do not recommend using this company.

We had a great experience with the shipping of our Honda to Fairbanks. Customer service was helpful and we got the process started very quickly. The car was picked up promptly after we reached out for a quote and my daughter got her car in Fairbanks a couple of days ahead of schedule. Definitely recommend!

Went online to get a quote from Alaska Car Transport and got a phone the following day and received multiple emails over the next few days regarding my quote. Decided to get my vehicle shipped with them so I paid online. They also called after my payment to ask if I wanted insurance which I declined. Estimated drop off/arrival dates were different from what they quoted me since it was directly through Matson which doesn’t do same day drop off. The final received date was a week later but glad I was flexible with the dates. l understand that the estimated dates are estimated but I wanted to check on the status so I called Alaska Car Transport and waited thirty minutes and still couldn’t get a hold of anyone. My best advice, reach out to them via email if you have any questions after you’ve shipped your car. Emailed the lady who sent me my shipping details and got a response the next day. Overall, good company to use if you’re not in a rush.

We have used them twice now and they are easy to work with and have been good and fast. The car looked great when we picked it up. They were a little bit more in price than other companies, not much... But they are much much faster and more professional than the other companies we talked with. The only reason I didn't give five stars, is because right before ship off they called and asked if I wanted maritime insurance. I was driving and told them I'd call them back to talk about it. They said they would email me the information and instead they emailed me a thank you for getting the insurance. I was frustrated because I saw it too late to be able to cancel it. Other then that, they were totally awesome and we felt confident with them. We have used them to ship a car from Alaska and now into Alaska.

They are at the Port of Anchorage, but I would NOT recommend shipping a vehicle through them
You will have to contact them for the correct port if they aren't picking it up at your house.
