I purchased a roadmaster baseplate in December, 2021. It was manufactured incorrectly with only one of the two safety loops that the safety cables are supposed to attach to. I obviously didn't notice this until after the complete installation (complete with red loctite). Roadmaster has been unwilling to admit fault even though the pictures are clear and their technicians have said it is wrong (seeing at the baseplate is painted over and it clearly didn't break off). They have a warranty but are refusing to honor it. I'm currently living in my RV living a nomadic lifestyle. Customer service has been extremely obstinate and unsympathetic. Their only solution is to drive to Vancouver, WA with my whole family, costing thousands of dollars and days or weeks of lost time and money working plus additional wear and tear. I purchased it through etrailer so hopefully THEIR friendly, reasonable staff are willing to help.

Over the top customer service, and top of the line product. Roadmaster is well known for its top of the line tow bars and many other products…but what I didn’t expect was something very hard to find these days. From the very first email asking for information, Theresa T was quick to respond, and extremely helpful. The installation was booked weeks in advance, and when I showed up, the paperwork was all ready for us…and as we were in our RV, they set us up with a secure place to spend the night, and even ran us an extension cord so we had power. I can’t say enough about the staff. Shane did the install and was awesome. Great experience!

Shout out to Roadmaster and specifically Mark V. (N.E. Factory Representative). I had a brakemaster system installed in San Diego, and a couple weeks into a lengthy trip, while in Maine, the compressor failed (stuff happens). But, between the RV service (Ricks RV), and Roadmaster, they really went above and beyond to very promptly get me taken care of. Mark met me in Maine and replaced the compressor himself. Roadmaster in Washington also contacted me. They were all a bit confounded with why the compressor failed, so Mark took the old one to see if they figure out what happened. Wow. I love knowing I have a great product and even better, such incredible caring service when things don't go as planned. I was already confident in the Roadmaster products, but the follow up service just made me a life time supporter. Thank you for such great service, that seems to be such a rarity these days. You are more than AWESOME!!!!

I purchased an RSS online and had the Newmar dealer install it while having some warranty work done last fall. The unit was binding, making a twang noise occasionally on severe turns. On a maintenance trip to the dealership this spring they noticed it too and adjusted the unit, but now it didn't seem to provide any stabilization. Following our next camping trip, I called Roadmaster to see what they thought. Teresa answered the phone, listened to my issue, and simply asked when I would like to come in and have one their technicians look at it? The appointment was scheduled, and I pulled into Roadmaster a few days later. Check-in was easy and the within ten minutes of pulling up by the service bay, the technician had the unit pulled off the coach and a new unit installed - free of charge! It’s great for a company to stand by their product and treat their (indirect) customers this well. And I am happy to report that the new stabilizer is working great! Thanks, Roadmaster!

Hi, Bud. It should work on any vehicle that has a dead pedal with the ignition off. Most Wranglers fall into this category. Thanks, Keri S.
Hi, Bruce! The Towmaster is only sold in our European market but the Stowmaster, which is rated for 6,000 lbs, is a good choice for your needs, as that truck has a curb weight of 4,500 lbs max. Here's a link to the instructions: https://roadmasterinc.com/pdf/85-1536.pdf You will also need a crossbar-style baseplate to attach that towbar to your vehicle. The part you need is 344-1B.
