We had a lunch scheduled at the City Club on April 11th. We were informed that due to staffing issues they would not accommodate us even though we have people flying in from around the country. I strongly suggest avoiding the club for events. If you choose to book an event, avoid coordinating with Lili Ruiz. Apparently, a signed contract is meaningless.

First pandemic wedding. Small and cozy. Staff was really nice here at the bar and at dinner service. Food was really tasty and meat dish was not overcooked. Medium was pretty decent.

Fantastic food for a buffet for for Eden but the drab/moose lodge-esk furniture dulls the forever-feet ceilings which are inspiring. Amazing acoustics for our panel speaking event on stage. Real washcloths in the men's restroom. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Ok it's an 'old school' club with nice decor and bar but don't miss the amazingly anti-establishment Diego Rivera mural. It's worth taking time off from that wedding reception to admire the work of this larger-than-life adulterer.
