Barista is untrained and do not even know about timing shots. When I mentioned that the shots were bad, I was told to go to Starbucks. I hate to see a private coffee shop get it so wrong. Response from owner also told me to go to Starbucks. Having owned several espresso bars since the late 90s, I understand the difficulty it is for for shops to maintain consistency. It's great to see the onset of 3rd and 4th wave espresso bars that are setting a new standard for coffee quality. Sprudge is of course a great guide. I certainly hope Deja Brew eventually gets it right.

This is the epitome of mom and pop success. Simple food menu is perfect, extensive coffee/tea selection is amazing. I'll come here over Starbucks any day.

What a cute, charming place right in beautiful downtown Warrenton. Th service was quick, the staff super friendly, and the drinks delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and the decorations were charming. This just became a regular stop for me on my way through northern Virginia.
