Shaheen really saved my tail! I unfortunately ran into a bit of trouble that, though a small misunderstanding on my part, carried some serious consequences, and I cannot emphasize enough how glad I am that his office was the one I found and was lucky enough to call first. Shaheen is an intelligent and experienced attorney and his staff are incredibly professional. Walk into their office and you will see multiple awards for legal excellence lining the conference room. Over the course of my case being worked out by them, I communicated with two of his assistants (in addition to him) and the first has gone on the attend law school himself. The second assistant was equally professional, empathetic and responsive as the first that helped me. This cannot be said about every law office. Shaheen himself is also very responsive - another thing you won't find with every law office. I've had friends who have hired attorneys for civil matters only to be ignored after paying the retainer. Not with Shaheen. Their fee schedule is clear and well explained. They may also work with you if you can't put the entire thing down right away which really helped me. He's down to earth, straightforward, and can give you realistic expectations of how your case will proceed and what you will need to do. He had my case DISMISSED by the DA. What a feeling. If you have a case pending with the Los Angeles Superior Court, don't make the mistake of hiring an attorney that doesn't frequent that court system like Shaheen does.
