If you need a lawyer, might as well defend yourself or get a public defender. Truly a waste of time! Un responsive, unreliable. All of the negative comments you see are correct, I thought everyone has their own experiences but they are correct. My best advice is to stay far, far away from this firm.

Worst law firm ever, terrible service. The only time we were treated well was when we were about to pay them money. We payed for them te represent our case and in the end they send some random lady. Would not recommend.

Attorney Arturo Angel Burga and his wonderful staff at Burga Law have handled everything from immigration issues to personal injury for me. I wouldn't trust anyone else. If you need a good attorney who is honest and will fight for you call them!!!

You may qualify for free legal help if you meet certain income requirements, especially if you are charged with a crime for which the sentence would deprive you of liberty (such as jail or prison time). For non-criminal matters, community legal clinics and lawyers working "pro bono" offer free legal services for those who qualify.
Lawyers bill for a wide variety of expenses and costs in addition to their hourly or flat fee. These costs include (but are not limited to) filing fees, court costs, paralegal and staff time, postage, court reporter costs, expert fees, investigators, and travel expenses.
Yes, we do.
You are innocent until proven guilty. You do not want to go to court alone. Meet with an experienced criminal defense attorney before you accept any deals or plea offers from the District Attorney. You do not have to make a decision the first day you go to court. You can always request a continuance to give you time to speak with a private attorney. In some occasions, the District Attorney may offer you a great deal in exchange for you to plead guilty. Sometimes because the District Attorney doesn't believe they have a strong case against you or have other matters that they rather focus on.
There is no fee unless we collect on your case.
