This was our first stay in a B&B. We loved everything about the place: the room, bed, clawfoot tub, and delicious blueberry French toast. Steve's stories were an entertaining bonus.

This was an incredibly beautiful place. The owner's wife did a wonderful job decorating it and it was a very peaceful environment. I would really recommend it. The food was great too. We spent the first nights of our honeymoon here and it was a very memorable experience. I really loved the antiques.

Absolutely lovely experience! This expansive and stately home is a welcome respite from the typically impersonal travel most of us experience today. The gracious hospitality of Steve and Kathy was by far the best part of our stay. Before a long day of caving at Mammoth Cave National Park, we were treated to a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, two types of sausages, incredible pancakes with blueberry compote, fresh strawberries and banana, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. The perfect start to a day loaded with hiking, adrenaline rushes, and awe inspiring views! We wanted for not a thing during our entire stay and we will most definitely return. While I am sure this amazing home is just spectacular in the warmer months, the warmth we felt staying here in the chill of February will be difficult to surpass. What more romantic a weekend could one ask for than some quiet evenings in the Scarlett Suite, winding down your private clawfoot tub only to be lost in dreams of exploration of the caves, or one of the many local antique shops, while tucked nicely into a comfy huge four poster bed. A winter getaway to Victorian House will be an event to remember...and will leave you refreshed and reminded that the very best thing about travel is the people we meet along the path. Thank you Steve and Kathy...we cannot wait until we can slip away for another visit!

A beautifully decorated Victorian home. Stayed in the Scarlett Room which was outstanding with a free standing claw tub surrounded by beautiful lace, outstanding views from white shuttered Windows, a king size bed with a wooden step up(so Victorian), beautiful Victorian furniture, decorated fireplace, Victorian sofa and many added touches. The owners were friendly, helpful, and aimed to please. Very good breakfasts in a Victorian dining room. Outstanding experience!! Thank you Steve and Cathy.
