Word is that the owner here complained/whined about losing money to the free truck parking at the speedway across the street, so speedway has posted a sign about not allowing truck parking between 10pm-6am. If this is true, I can guarantee I'll let every trucker I know about this and I will make it a point to never stop here again, whether in my tractor trailer or personal vehicles, and make sure my company never calls these people for road service. Ive always thought this place was well maintained, but if they going to whine about someone else's free parking, that speaks volumes about their integrity. Update: judging from the owners response, I'd say it's true!

It looked nice, though I didn't go in. My mother and grandmother did. They liked the black coffee. I found my cappuccino and chocolate milk tasted kinda funny, as did the corn dog I got, but I won't complain too much. I'm sure the employees were nice and did their best.

I paid $12 parking to stay the night here and on the ticket it said if I get 50 gallons of fuel or spend $30 inside the truck stop I would be reimbursed for my $12. On the ticket it says you can park first and fuel up later and as long as you submit the parking ticket they will reimburse you. Well when I went in to get reimbursed, I got my fuel receipt and presented my ticket and was told because I did not have the receipt for parking, a receipt I was never given when I paid for parking, I would not be reimbursed.

I like it and it's in an area where there are few to no options for someone who needs to park. The $30 in store purchase for parking wasn't all that hard to cover. The cat fish seemed really fresh, the chicken gizzards where quite good and just the fact that they had fried chicken livers was the icing on the cake. I'd go get more if I wasn't stuffed. I just stocked up on a few essentials and bought a sun shade I've been meaning to buy. The staff were nice and friendly. They kept the line moving swiftly, which I really appreciate.

There most certainly is a charge to park here now! Been a loyal customer here for 30 + years. I have bought fuel here for years. I always bought a meal here, even after the food sucked. Spent thousands of dollars here over the years. After being rudely woken up last night, and told I had to pay or leave. I will never set foot on this property ever again. I will spend my money elsewhere from now on. This includes my fuel purchases, which was a guaranteed 5 to 700 dollar's per week. It was a nice quiet place to stop, but you are now no different than the big chain truck stops now, with clean up to date rest rooms, much better food. And that are taking full advantage of commercial truck drivers since e logs have came into play, and you seem to think we have no choice but to pay to park when we are out of hrs. Shame on you for taking advantage of a terrible situation for truck drivers. I have news for ya, prepare to have that big new lot you put in remain empty.
