today i called about 8: 00 a.m. a non emergency call. I was concerned for a person laying in the sidewalk on amar and temple ave. When i called the dispatcher a female she sure had attitude and asked her if someone can lay there and sleep. I told her i don't know if the person is ok because the body was all covered. So her question was is the person dead, i reply i don't know i just drove and saw this person laying on the sidewalk. She told me if it was unresponsive, i said i don't know i just want it to someone to check on the person because i was on my way to work. So she was rude in saying is the person dead and is not a crime for a person to lay in the sidewalk and sleep how inconsiderate and hung up on me. I hope a higher up will look at this review and take some kind of verbal action and tell that dispatcher that her customer service was so poorly handle and the people of the City of West Covina pays for her salary by our taxes. So dispatcher if you see this i hope that the person i called is ok and you don't need services one day and have the same question asked see how that feels. Be courteous and symphatetic next time before you hang up the call you never know someone might be saved by being concerned for another human being.

West Covina PD were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and their patrol vehicle was incredibly roomy. I didn't know I had to sit back so that my hands would fit, but the officer guided me back and held my shoulders. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.

I called them to report that my mother who is 85 years old said someone was in the backyard. It was about 3 a.m. since the dogs didn't bark I kind of figured that my mom was seeing things. But I called them anyway. They came immediately check out the backyard and never made me feel like a fool or my mother either Great public service! Especially from Sergeant Brian Prizzi

Guess what! West Covina PD decided they have the power to take your car if it has not been registered in the past 6 months or longer and is parked in front of your house! That's right. Who cares about the law when you wright your own and put it in the legislation right? I am homeless and have no money and been looking for a job, go out in front of my parents house, and my car I just parked a few hours ago is GONE. Called up the police and they took it. They told me that they send police out into the residential areas to find these cars! They actually admitted it as though it's just fine. Wow.. Illegal laws are they way of the land now days. This sucks..
