It has multiple restrooms located on opposite ends of the park. Lots of recreational stuff to do during the summer, you can vote here during elections, has pool, you can rent a room for parties, has softball fields, tenis courts, basketball hoops, two playgrounds (the one for smaller kids is gated with picnic benches, the big kids playground is surrounded by open grass and lots of space) both have sand. Parking is pretty decent at Mayfair. During weekends parking is harder. I'm not sure how much 'crime' happens here. No smoking. This park was definitely paid for with children in mind, as a place where families with children are welcomed. *No Pets allowed there are signs throughout. This is not a place for dogs, especially unleashed ones. A kids was on his skateboard and a unleashed dog went to attack the skateboard and knocked the kid off his board. Another unleashed dog went into the women's restroom and his owner (a man) went in to get his dog but little girls from the softball team were in there. Another unleashed dog (golden retriever) jumped on a small child for pitching a baseball. Also unleashed dogs that see other leashed dogs often fight, we've seen this many times at Mayfair Park. So take your pets to a dog park to be safe.* Pretty active park with lots of youth sports like softball, soccer and flag football teams practicing here. Friendly neighborhood. The river bank/channel is a hot spot for suspicious activity. Overall great park for youth.

Nicely redone park idea for 2-6 year olds I would say. Couple baseball diamonds. Great field of grass for soccer. Basketball courts (2 full court ones) Went for fair which is yearly.

The playground is great. Has a lot of climbing and hanging parts as well as a tire swing. There is even a smaller section for the younger kids. The waddle pool is great for fighting the summer heat! The main pool is only open for lessons until July 2/3 when they will open for public use.

Yes, they have several fairs throughout the year. All vary in price, depending on what type of fair it is. You can get more information at: www.lakewoodcity.org and navigate to parks, recreation, or activities.
If you call Parks and Recreation regarding the park all your questions will be answered instead of getting hearsay... Every year rules change so it's best to get it from the proper source. Good luck. Godspeed
Have proof of residence in city of Lakewood.
According to Lakewood city website, it's 11am to 4pm for 3-7yr olds. Mid June to early September.
Adults are 3 and kids are 2 unless you're a Lakewood resident then the price gets lowered.
Based on their website, I think they'll start mid to late June
It be open on weekends 10 am to 4 pm some thing like that
Yes it is. The daily hours are listed on the city's website as well as the automated system when you call city hall
Yes it should be
Probably, if you don't park inside their parking and maybe just park in the street
Tickets for what? Check the website for info: www.lakewoodcity.org And look for what it is that you're interested in. The Pam American fair ended on Sunday, I believe. There are things going on all year, most are free, but rides, etc do cost money. https://www.lakewoodcity.org Check website for upcoming events and prices.
I Don't think so,would have been nice though
It depends if you're a resident or not and the summer ones that I took my toddler don't cost much and usually varies... approximately $50 to be safe.
They're working on an underground city drainage system. They tore out the tennis courts and the grass and dug out a large area. The middle bathrooms and diamond 2 are closed during construction. When it's done, the tennis courts will be replaced with new ones. I heard that from Parks & Rec staff.
Contact the park and rec at city hall
Pictures on the brochure. U have to go up there to see it.
