WARNING THIS POOL IS NOT OPEN FOR GENERAL PUBLIC USE! Wanna swim here? Well first you have to use their annoying and tedious pool registration system. You have create an online account (annoying and tedious), and PRE-register for a specific time slot (whyyy?) just to use the pool. This means that anyone who doesn't have access to the internet or isn't tech savvy effectively won't be able to use this pool... Despite the fact that this is a public pool paid for by all our tax dollars. Technically the website mentions this but it's way down the page and it is NOT obvious. What a terrible way to run a public health resource.

2 stars is not about the facility. It's about their current accessibility policy. I went to watch a water polo match and was told to watch from the street side behind a chain link fence. Only teams and coaches were allowed. Having recently had a stroke, it was challenging to traverse the grassy area and stand to get a good view. At least tell visiting teams of restrictions and that it's not ADA friendly. It would be helpful to move the bleachers outside.

I love swimming at this pool. Great programs for beginner lessons, swim teams for adults and kids as well as open swim on the weekends. The pool is clean and clear. They keep the water pretty warm all year round. Staff is helpful and skillful.

Yes! The pool is open. You have to go onto the Culver City parks and rec website to reserve a time slot for lap swimming, family swim, or a class.
Showers are available in the locker. Check website for cost
Yes
Check hours though for lap swimming.
Yes, unless there is lightning, thunder, or it is raining so hard the lifeguards cannot see the bottom of the pool.
You need to reserve it. They have "family swim time" Between 7am to 8pm. You can reserve a slot which is the width of two lanes, but it's divided in half so another family can swim on the other side. New swim openings are usually announced on Mondays. You can reserve the slots online on the website. When you arrive on your scheduled date, you tell the woman at the door with the clipboard your name and she'll confirm you're time slot and let you inside. Everyone is following safety protocols and wearing masks when not in the water. Enjoy!
a person who I spoke to when I was at the park said there are showers. its a requirement before going in the pool.
Yes. There are very strict rules. They are constantly disinfecting too. You have to sign up a week in advance to swim.
I've people swimming IAM assuming it is best to go there personally ask more questions
