Parking area is now cement, it's so much cleaner now. Friendly staff and not to busy as before.

I went to recycle bottles. The facility is cramped. However, I am giving it 5 stars for the people who work there. They are friendly & efficient. I appreciated their help!

Currently we are accepting cardboard for free. The markets are very bad for cardboard right now due to the trade war with China, and COVID.

We accept car batteries. We do accept regular paper and bags if there's no glues, however due to the markets were currently not paying for bags and paper. We only accept plastic beverage containers
We accept plastic beverage containers. Some of them qualify as CRV, (The ones you pay a deposit on at the grocery store). The other ones like milk don't have CRV but we still pay you for the plastic. We can explain it in detail if you bring it in. We'd be happy to help you
I recently went there they also pay you cash you don't have to take a check and cash it at the liquor store anymore down the Street they open at 7:30 a m

Can I bring old pots and pans in to recycle. Would I need to remove plastic handles.
I work at a school and I have (non confidential) documents/paper that need to be recycled. Is there a minimum amount of paper that can be brought in for recycling?

They do accept paper. I'm not 100% sure if there is a minimum but they don't give you back money for it.
I believe you can dispose of old gasoline at most auto parts stores, like used motor oil. Otherwise, leave the lid off the container and it will evaporate.
Huntington Beach recycling does not buy batteries.
So they are open on Saturday?

Varies with market prices and the quality (cleanliness mostly) of the scrap copper. Right now the best (#1) is a little over $2.00 a pound here. You can always call and ask what the going rate is, they'll tell you.
