I think you should hire a well experience Manager!!! At former Villa Del Sol Apartment because the manager was not very advance thinking as a former manager base on my experience should have an advance thinking!!! The Manager should give an advance notice to the tenant! And about the mail she didn’t even talk to one of the post office staff so all the mail was pile up together the staff at post office said the apartment manager of Villa Del Sol at Allegheny didn’t even informed the post office staff it’s not the post office responsible to keep all the letters!!! There is something wrong with the manager no common sense! Instead all letters should put in one place! Or at a vacant apartment and put boxes and number it! Now all the letters of the tenants are all together in a sack bag it is not the post office responsible to keep all the letters! Now the Manager was giving all the tenant a hard time poor people! Aperto Property Management you need to hire a better and advance thinking and well experience apartment manager! Maybe hire me!!!!!!!!

I celebrated my 58th birthday homeless. Stephanie Higgins, manager of Oakcrest apartments sat in court and lied to the judge, told the police they were lying and even gave a different story than her own witness just because I criticized her performance and she got me evicted. 45 years of work experience. Flawless rental history. 790 credit rating. My home iof 12 years. Neighbors, friends,. All gone because Stephanie Higgins is mentally ill. And now I get to be homeless for the rest of my life because of her. Hell isn't good enough for Stephanie Higgins, her kind belong at the soulless corporation Aperto.

Rent is constantly increasing even though Pacific Palm Apartments are supposed to be Low Income Housing, and no one in my household income is increasing. I signed up two years ago for $849 a month, and now two years later $1019.I have never lived anywhere where the late rent fee was $75.00. All this money for what, the AC units are old, no updated appliances in the kitchens, bad weather-stripping on the front doors, not even a new gate for our protection even though it's a rough neighborhood. Management is extremely rude, unhelpful, and non transparent when they are requesting extremely sensitive and personal information. I'm not even sure that it's legal some the things I've been asked for. The two women in charge of running the place are literally free to just do to the tenants what ever they feel like. Constantly harassing tenants with unnecessary notices, always "working" on your case. You can't just pay what you signed up for and live here in peace.

My elderly parents had been living at this property Meadowbrook Apartments for 12 consecutive years and they always made rent payments on time, great citizens/neighbors. Recently ,the Property Management changed to Aperto Management. My elderly parents stated the Meadowbrook Apartments Leasing Office Staff at San Diego have been very disrespectful and rude with them most of the time. They increased their rent without providing a mailing notice of action and they did not provide them with a receipt every time you turn in documents requested by the leasing office. They also charged one of my family members with $1,500 verbally for apparently not turning some paystubs requested that of course he provided and Meadowbrook Leasing did not provide him a receipt. My parents never received a mailing notice requesting the documents or indicating the possible consequences of not turning it. I work in an Affordable Housing Property and we never charge people $1,500 for not turning paperwork and we proceed with receipts and mailing notices of action. My parents never received a mailing notice notifying them regarding a rent increase due a family member obtained a part time job. My parents were notified about it just the very same day they went to pay the rent at the beginning of the month as usual when one of the staff members just provided them a pink sticky note indicating the rent was increased and they are not longer assigned to pay $370.00 as usual and today they need to pay $ 720.00 starting today and right now. The Leasing Office Staff Member at Meadowbrook Apartments provided them a pink sticky note with a pen writing of $720.00 to indicate the rent increase. Hello??? Did you know any rent increase need to be notified with a formal mailing notice and with days in advance ? My parents were surprised about it and were struggling to collect the rest of the money because they never received a mailing notice of action about the rent increase. Once again I also work in an affordable housing apartments and we always notify our tenants on time with a mailing notice of action and we are always willing to meet with them in person to clarify their concerns with respect and excellent customer service. We have been respectfully requesting a meeting with the Meadowbrook Apartments Property Manager multiple times and even thru email and we are still waiting for a response. I also called Aperto Management Main Offices and they transferred my call to a voicemail of somebody called Monica and I am still waiting for her to call me back. This morning I called again to the Leasing Office Meadowbrook Apartments to verify the status of the meeting we request at 8:08 A.M. and somebody from the Meadowbrook Apartments " Call Center " just took the message because "nobody was at the office" and in top of that this person made fun of my accent while talking with her at the phone. What is that Aperto Property Management? Low Income families residing in your apartments complexes deserve being serve with respect, dignity, attention, excellent customer service , professionalism and in a timely manner. Just look at the reviews of Meadowbrook Apartments at San Diego and you will see it is time for you Aperto Property Management to take action and to improve your services. Your Staff at Meadowbrook Apartments Leasing Office are not representing your values, mission and goals as stated at your Website. Meadowbrook Apartments the only place 1)they notify you about your rent increase with a pen writing in a sticky note the very same day you are paying your normal rent , 2) they don't provide you receipts every time you turn in documents, 3) they don't provide you mailing notice of action to notify changes or request documents, 4) the only place charge you $ 1, 500 for " apparently not turning documents". We are willing to get organize and to refer it to Agencies / Media / Organizations will secure equal housing opportunities .
