It's a small lovely place. Saw The Paper Dreams of Harry Chin. Being chinese i understood most but dont like the ghost part. Solid actors and they did a great job. Nice staging.

Be aware they are willing to take your money for drinks at the interval even when the bell goes for the second half and then tell you you aren't allowed food of drinks in the auditorium.

Amazing venue to watch theatre in SF. Coffee to downtown SF and Union Square. I love watching shows at SF Playhouse.

Saw a wonderful performance of Cabaret today. Always enjoy the shoes at SF Playhouse. Intimate setting and consistently excellent performances. We also appreciate the variety of plays.

Hi Alara, we have shows Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm; Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 3pm and 8pm; and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm.

Check on Sutter Stockton garage. Probably the closest, and most reasonable. The Donatello Hotel (1/2 block) did offer theater rates, but check with them first as I am not sure if they still do. Enjoy! I love SF Playhouse.
Farralone it's excellent but pricey. There are several Thai restaurant not too far.
