I and my wife moved into Freedom Village two months ago. Before that, we have compared various CCRC around southern California for couple years. We decide Freedom Village fits our needs the best. After two months of residence here, we conclude we have made right decision. Living here, It feels more like a big family here instead of a retirement center. All residents and workers get along so well. We are lucky and hope every elders could live in a place like Freedom Village and be taken care for the final stage of one's life.

Our aunt has been a resident at Freedom Village for over 15 years. Until recently she was in her own independent living apartment where she enjoyed the friendship of many other residents, healthy meals in the dining room, in-house activities and excursions to various local community events. Recently our aunt relocated to the assisted living facility. This was a challenging adjustment for her, initially, due to lingering health issues. However, the attentive and supportive care providers made the transition a positive experience. With no local family members to monitor her care and needs the care staff and administration took steps to ensure we were kept informed, included in decisions and immediately apprised of any serious developments. All while dealing with the added constraints of the COVID pandemic. Today our aunt is very comfortable and thriving in her new environment. While her lifestyle has change some her attitude and enthusiasm for life is as good as it has ever been. We are very grateful. Organizations such as Freedom Village succeed or fail as a result of the effort and actions of their employees and staff. Over the years and especially during the past six months we have been very satisfied with the care and attention afforded our aunt and expect others would have similar experiences.

Wonderful facility in Lake Forest, CA where my grandmother spent the last years of her life. Attentive nursing staff, clean and well managed, with nursing and memory care on premises. Activity program for residents is excellent!

Thank you for your kind words. Freedom Village offers memory care for our current residents. Our assisted living and skilled nursing are open to the public. For skilled nursing, we accept a wide variety of insurance plans. We're happy to give you more details. Please give us a call anytime!
Freedom village is a mult level retirement village. You pay a buy in and pay monthly rent. Start at independent level then go to assisted care, then convalescent or memory care level. The buy in guarantees lifetime care. But if you run out of funds for your rent at convalescent or memory care level they request you apply for mediCal. They will happy to go over all their services. Staff are very attentive to my mother's needs and alert me to any concerns. I give them 5 stars.
