When this store opened, it was a total 5 star! As a former Lowes vendor I have seen many many Lowes stores and this was one of the best. But it has slowly gone downhill from most aspect. Staffing, I understand. Help is hard to find. Inventory on many items is low or out of stock. I can understand that as well. But, the lack of service and attitude of the folks can't be excused. Many times it seems like employees will purposely avoid the customer and move quickly past.

Ordered online but with I had to deal with a live person, they all were just as nice as could be. All of them also are very knowledgeable in there individual departments. This is a great company to deal with.

We had a WONDERFUL shopping experience in the lighting department at the Lowe's in Canton, Ga. The associate, named Steve, went the extra mile in helping us find exactly what we were looking for, while shopping for a new lighting fixture for our kitchen. We found the light we "thought" we wanted and was ready to leave when Steve came up and asked if we needed help to find what we were looking for. I told him we had but he asked if we knew the differences in the lighting and based it on where we were putting the light. That's when we learned that the light we were going to buy wasn't the best choice. He explained the different types of lighting and in that we found a lighting fixture that is "exactly" what we wanted and needed. We were very excited about our purchase and we are very happy with the help we received from Steve in order to make the right purchase. Without his extra step in showing us the differences, we would not have been happy with our original choice. We have always enjoyed great service by the associates at the Canton, Ga Lowe's, but Steve is tops in our book.

I have always preferred Lowe's as my home improvement store but lately I have to wonder. Self checkout is the only check out option they have anymore and that's tough with some items. As a handicapped person fighting cancer I resent the fact that there's never a working handicap cart. After not being able to get what I needed three trips in a row because of this it's time to move on.
