Be prepared to spend time here if you come check out a bird. Charlie and Ron want to make sure you actually develop a bond with the bird before taking it home. They have many birds throughout the entire home. They have Amazon's, macaws, cockatoos and cockatiels. I can see why some of the reviews say they are attached to the birds and could possibly not want to let them go. It's because they actually do care about the well being of the birds, they want to make sure they go to good homes. I rescued a bird from Avian and would recommend them if you're serious.

I wouldn’t even leave my bird there!!!! All birds looked stressed out and plucked feathers. I wouldn’t buy a bird or rescue a bird from this lady. The trip is a waste of time. If you just want to go see stressed birds in a house then probably will be good but not to buy or rescue!!!!. The lady who works there is attached to the birds and don’t wanna let them go so if you’re coming from out of town and plan on purchasing a bird go elsewhere. Also she had a green conure online for 200 then tried to sell to me for a higher price when I got there!!…

The couple who runs this rescue are amazing. They are so kind and knowledgeable. They do everything in their power to make sure their rescue birds are rehomed to a loving, caring, and safe home. I had the opportunity to adopt a white face cockatiel from them. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a bird companion. But please, please make sure you're ready to commit to your soon to be feathered friend.

Absolutely deplorable conditions. Every room of his residential house is completely filled with cages and birds. The house smells rancid and looks like a hoarders house. I could not, in my right mind, leave my bird there. Please do not consider leaving ANY animal with this man
