The environment is not for the soft or weak hearted. Stayed 5 days and the boys were called out 3 times that i know of. The room was great for the price. The one burner on the stove didn't work but outside of that no complaints, no bugs seen and trash placed outside the room was picked up daily. Never had an issue with hot water or pressure. The front desk clerk was also personable and helpful.

The place itself was not bad as it could be, the tenants were very loud after 9pm outside, lots of yelling, loud music, and movement, but I can sleep through noise. But, you get what you pay for. I will stay again, had no problems. Had an inner city apartment complex feel to it which is comfortable to me.

Let's see the manager is rude disrespectful. He has NO people skills, allowed one set a of towels a week Thursday's after 2pm one roll of toilet paper a week drug's in every other room overdoses regularly laundry facilities are gross I had to clean out all my cupboards myself they were yellow had to clean out the heater/AC unit of all nasty lint strange people knocking on door all hours of the night. Had flat tires. The only person working here that is good is the maintance man. There was 6 cops here last night coroner to remove a dead body always something here!

I am personally touched by the condition of this place because I happened to stay here for two weeks when I was at Sherman College in 2010. I just relocated to Upstate SC and thought I could stay here again for a week or two to enable me to find a temporary apartment. I hardly stayed for just one night. The studio buildings are maintained externally but the inside is completely run down. These are the things I noticed: 1) the drawer of the dresser in the room I stayed was broken and left on top of the shelf. 2) the air condition is dusty and all taped up with black duct tape, but still works. 3) the door to the room is not weather sealed and there was a big gap that even bugs could crawl in as well. 4) the two burner stove is so filthy that I could not cook on it. 5) the bathroom vent is rusty, the wall is fallen apart, and there was no curtain. The entire condition of this supposed to be a beautiful place for guests made me very emotional because I knew what it used to be in 2010. I mean houses suppose to last hundreds of years so eleven years is like nothing. I will rather pay more to stay in the studio than paying less with its run down condition. I am here by appealing to Red Roof corporation to save these studios, to maintain the inside as well as the outside is being maintained. Let the pictures that the guests see on Internet reflect exactly the current condition. Please restore these studios to its previous glories. Thanks
