We found this place quite by accident but I'm soooo glad we did. Well stocked for water activities like fishing and paddling. Prices were comparable to other outfitters in the area. They also had a food truck, a brewery and an ice cream truck, which was awesome. Picnic area outside, right by the river. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back soon!!

Went to the fly fishing festival. An excellent day. Great music, excellent classes, food, and vendors. In addition the outfitters and paddle shops we open. Parking was a bit of a problem. Definitely coming back

Oh my gosh!! This was so much fun! We did the short kayak trip and it was fantastic! The day wasn't too hot. The water wasn't too cold😉 We were given a map along with landmarks to not only where we were on the French Broad River but also landmarks to look for to make sure we caught the shuttle back to the store. If you're thinking about this trip and have younger people with you, this is a great first trip. The water was calm. The wildlife was fun. And the trip was awesome! We actually talked with someone else from our campground about a group trip and going again. He told us they try to go every year. That should tell you all you need to know!
