This park is gorgeous and has amazing trails. But I felt like I was encroaching on the home of some people. There were some people living in their cars in the parking lot. Some were cooking on the bbq grill, and living out of their suitcases. Some were scouting for firewood. And some were just hanging out in the large picnic area. The playground looked great. Dogs on leash allowed (which is why I went). But as someone of my build walking alone in the afternoon, I did not enjoy being yelled at by a drunk holding a giant bottle of alcohol. It is secluded, which makes it nice, but I felt like I didn’t belong there.

It's a shame because this is a nice park it's got nice trails and the creek and lots of benches for picnics. I also like that its secluded, however this is a double edged sword. When I got there, there were only two cars in the lot. One was empty and a man was sitting in another doing who knows what. No one else was around which was a bit concerning and I found odd since it was a nice day and it's in a large neighborhood. I was there maybe 30 minutes enjoying the scenery when a strange man on a bike just came out of nowhere from the trees. I booked it out of there after that. While I was leaving a van with two older men pulled up and they watched me as I left. I wouldn't go to this park unless you go with other people or go early in the day.

Beautiful park where the kids playground is immersed in nature. Surrounded by hiking trails, creeks and mature trees. Especially magical when the gentle sun light peeps through from beyond the tall trees.

Nice quiet park located in a residential neighborhood. It looks like a fun place for parties.
