I've learned every Walmart has its own culture, so to speak. This one's definitely a hillbilly culture which is fine. The Nashville Lake people are hard to tolerate when they visit though! They look down their noses at everyone, and are rude. This store has fortunately kept a good supply it must everything, and because it's the only Big box store in Smithville, they have a really good variety that you don't find in the Franklin store. If we can only convince the lake people to do their shopping before they head this way!

Meh. It's Walmart. We avoid it if possible. Try shopping without stocking clerks rolling ladders and merchandise carts in front of you, or blocking the aisles and creating an awkward situation when you interrupt their stocking. Then of course it's choosing whether to use the full service cashier while waiting for the ladies with two full carts of groceries to finish writing a check, or use the self-checkout where the debit machines reject your debit card 6 times while trying to check out. So yeah, there's always Walmart. Oh, one redeeming factor: that one young man in Produce who is willing to stop what he's doing, and with a smile, to go to the back to see if they have leeks for you. Someone raised a hero.

This is the only bad experience I've had here in 3 years. I understand being short staffed, but catching an attitude isn't necessary. Really petty, but we got a clearance item that was priced on the front at the marked down price. When she scanned it, it rang up regular and I brought it to her attention that it scanned wrong. After scanning the original cost baroda 3x, she said "well do you want them or not?" My husband went ahead and got the item at full cost. I was not happy with the attitude she had. Had I been by myself, I would have left the entire cart and walked out.
