I was told they have two establishments, this one and another at 301 Adams Ave Scranton. I bought a used drum machine from them. It was advertised on FB MARKETPLACE under DANIEL E Deppner Jr. No business was mentioned. I expressly asked and was told the unit was FULLY FUNCTIONAL in a text that I still have. Upon getting the unit home I discovered one of the outputs was inoperable and promptly notified the shop. They responded by saying the store policy was no cash refunds, it was a mutual mistake and one of us would have to pay for repairs. I reminded them that they texted the unit was fully operational and I had the text. They still refused a refund. It's common for pawn shops give up to 7 days returns, and that's not even considering they lied about the condition. I'm out $120 dollars, my band and I rely on this equipment for our livelihoods. Unscrupulous and dishonest like some others have stated. I had no choice but to move on without my money and offer this unit to someone that could make use of it, under honest pretenses. Take the others' advise and stay away from this one, they will take advantage of you the first chance they get. Too bad it's a pawn shop like this that gives them all a bad name. Most owners work hard for a good reputation.
