This is one of my favorite Mexican places to eat in Dunnellon. Don Pepe is family run and they all are wonderful people. The food is delicious and priced right. The beers are cold and the margaritas are delicious. I have tried so many of their dishes. On this most recent trip I had the Mexican plate and a margarita. You really get a large portion of deliciousness! Tamales are lovely! If you go on the weekends be prepared to wait, unless you get there early. They have a cute porch to wait on with chairs. Great food and great value for a family.

I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants all over the United States and even out of the country and I’d have to say this place thoroughly impressed me. Not only is the food delicious and flavorful, the price is very affordable and you’ll be walking out of here with a happy tummy and ever left overs. the service is extremely fast, it took about 6 minutes to get our food after ordering it. Extremely impressed. Would highly recommend you eat here if you’re in town.

The food was really good, but the service was awful, and took over an hour to get food. It took someone forever to finally take our drink order and to get us drinks. The 2 groups after we were seated got there drinks and food before we did, we thought maybe they forgot about us.... Workers kept walking around but none ever stopped to asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. I had to get up and track someone down for, hot sauce, and To-go containers....I understand they were busy, but I did see several workers walking around but none were checking on guests. But like I said the food was delicious!

Came for Valentines Day. Expected a wait of course but definitely worth it. Delicious food, quick service but didn't feel rushed. Great service as well. Our first time but will definitely be back! No pics of food only because it smelled so good, we dove right in lol. Great place
