Always Beautiful!!! Today we got lucky (very few people) It felt like the good old days. Most days it's just too crowded and it's not that enjoyable when there's so many people on the river its just crazy. 🤪

What an amazing place to kayak. Left from the campground to Seven Sisters and the Crack and spent half a day. Only was able to explore a small fraction of the options available.

Awesome kayaking from the launch at the Chassahowitzka River Campground. Nice clear water on the Chassahowitzka River. Saw some manatees too. We have our own kayaks but you can rent canoes and kayaks from the Campground store. It cost $5 to park.

I Love Chassahowitzka! This place is beautiful! First time in my life I saw 2 dolphins up close and personal! It was a amazing experience that I will never forget! Went with the fam! There is a 5 dollar fee for parking, and they have restrooms. You can also rent kayaks for the day. 15 dollars for a half day. There really is no wait time for getting your boat in the water.

Thank you! @Dakota Lee ! Where are worried that they wouldn't be open but fingers crossed! Thanks again :-)
Yes sir, in fact most of the activities around there are paddle boarding and kayaking.
Yes to your question but advice on where the rocks are I broke a prop and a steering column
If its a skiff yes. Ramp is at campground
There is no swimming from dock but it is a short 2 minute paddle to 7 Sisters
Most of the time it's closed lik @ 6 pm
If you get there early at CHASSAHOWITZKA RIVER CAMPGROUND its only $5 to park. Jump off dock with a tube or float, go to the right and watch where people are going. You cant muss it. So beautiful. Weekdays are best, especially in morning. Fills up fast
No, a bit busy this season though. You will need one canoe or kayak per 1-2 people to get there from the boat rental place
Yes. The one on the wevoste is accurate but if they are busy they wont answer.. you will have to keep trying. Obviously not the spring but the campground will answer.
