A gem! Fresh and tasty Authentic food! The chicken kebab plate comes with hummus, salad, rice, and pita. Wish there were more salad.

Once we entered this establishment, a very welcoming young man (perhaps owner) greeted us and guided us through his menu offerings. It was like we're were in another country for our time here. The food was awesome. My hubby had lamb shawarma and I had a falafel wrap. A nice little escape from reality with great company and awesome is my take away. Thank you for having us.

My review is based on the owner being so nice and greeting me with open arms at his restaurant. I had plans on eating at my go to joint so next time for sure I will get all my favorites the restaurant offers. Attached are some pictures. If you can't afford to travel all you need to do to experience others cultures is try the food. You can't go wrong here, just take a look at all the wonderful meals you can get. Thank You Muhammad for the kindness.

At first glance, Falafel Gourmet may seem like a sit-down food venue but as it turns out it's more of a local market with meals available over the counter. That's not to say the food isn't great, because it certainly is. As you enter you'll see a few aisles of middle eastern items, which I'm sure is ideal for those of the culture looking to do some light shopping. Approaching the counter you'll be greeted by a very friendly man, who will present you with a menu and await your order. It's important to note that there is somewhat of a language barrier since the man's English appears to be minimal. This won't stop you from ordering but you'll need to point to photos on the menu and keep it simple, to ensure communication is consistent and that your order is correct. The menu contains a good variety of options, ranging from sandwiches to entire platters. Drinks include a somewhat random selection of bottled and canned drinks, including non-alcoholic beer. Once you've ordered and grabbed a drink, you can sit outside and they'll bring the food to you. The food was very delicious! I ordered a falafel platter which included rice, chicken and a salad. The meal is served in a styrofoam to-go container, which makes it convenient if you need to head out. The seating is very limited since there's only one or two tables outside with only a couple seats. This is more of a order to-go or dine solo type of store, which makes it less ideal for dining with a group of friends. But being small has its advantages - the people are extremely friendly and very attentive. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was family owned and operated. You can tell they value your service. Fresh, delicious food and friendly smiles are more than enough reasons to give this place a try!
