Very cool pocket of scrub with educational signs. Doesn’t take long to walk through - only about a quarter mile. Scrub is an endangered ecosystem in Florida so it is worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Isolated bit of early Florida,pre development style. A laved walk thru old Florida scrub ,one area had a fire in 2014 and as Nature would heal it, so too has the county. Only downside ,it IS in the middle of civilization, so road noise and the neighborhood behind it can bleed in

Little walking loop with a great glimpse and information into what Florida scrub is. There will be plenty of lizards running around. I didn’t see any gopher tortoises, but they are part of the scrub ecosystem. Nice benches, two pavilions, trash cans, water fountain, and informational signs are through the park. It’s in a random location next to the train track so don’t miss the turn-off. Nice quiet park to get some sunshine or picnic.

A beautiful natural area with a good length walking path and plenty of parking. A lot of wildlife to observe. Could use some cleaning up as there were a lot of trash on the path and in the parking lot during my visit.
