Best local bagel spot I have found to date. Large selection of bagels, bagel sandwiches and spreads. Definitely on par with real NY bagels. The “Williamsburg” Nova lox sandwich is excellent. The Cubsta iced coffee with iced coffee cubes to prevent dilution is pretty genius. Service is extremely fast, I typically order through UberEats for pickup and 90% of the time my order is ready in less than 10 minutes, but counter service is quick too. Prices are reasonable.

I use to love Brooklyn Water Bagel. I would order at least once a week. Recently, I’m not sure if they changed owners or management, but the food is terrible now. Also, I keep getting expired creamer with my iced coffee. I have called the restaurant many times to tell them that they need to check there inventory but I still get bad creamer. It is thick and clumpy and it ruins the whole cup. They continue to deny and say they changed the batch yesterday but why is this the excuse I get each time. I can understand one or two times because at the end of the day things happen and it is a Resturant. However, it has happened multiple times and has now sullied my experience with BWB.

Gave them 3 chances. Underwhelmed on all 3. Their biggest problem is that their bagels just aren't good. Tuna melt - bread wasn't even grilled or toasted. not sure how they melted the cheese - microwave? Bagel with egg and cheese - egg was a disk that had clearly been made in the microwave. bagel was small, dry, and tough. Felt like it too had been microwaved. They managed to arrange the sandwich so that the cheese was melted to the bagel where there was no egg, so I either got a bite of bagel and cheese, or bagel and egg, rarely all 3. This speaks to how small the egg puck is too. Cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese - thankfully not microwaved. Best thing I've had there, but definitely not worth going back for.
