Have never used the service myself but have had many friends who use it regularly and for all the clients and people in need that depend on them, they do a very good job at making it all look easy.

Its a joke. I just called to make my appointment for tomorrow but unfortunately they don't schedule medical rides on the weekends and want me to call back tomorrow but they don't do same day appointments but want me to call back to schedule my appointment for tomorrow at 1:15.

My aunt is in a nursing home and because of covid has not been able to spend a holiday with us in over 2 years. She was finally able to come for Easter this year but because Ridesource neglected to tell her the personal part of her rides had expired (which they are supposed to do) and she can only do medical she cant come and they said it would take 3 weeks to re do it they would not make an exception for only that ride . She has been crying all day because of this. My whole family is crushed!!!!!

Customer service has always been helpful and kind, but there is a communication error at least 75% of the rides I have requested. Whether it is an error regarding a proper pick up time not being written down, being listed as a "will call" incorrectly, being extremely late, or being extremely early, there is almost always an issue. Expect to be a half hour early to your appointment and waiting a half hour (at least) to be picked up afterwards. I end up taking an Uber or Lyft home at least half the time. Very, very frustrating.

No! I worked there for 10 years.
I recommend giving Ridesource a call. They have transportation programs for seniors and people with disabilities who are unable to take LTD busses due to limitations they have. Once you call them to get set up, they will make you an appointment with an eligibility worker who will come visit you in your home. If they determine that taking the city bus would go against your limitations, then you'll be eligible. People who are eligible can buy tickets at a low price and set up an appointment for a ridesource bus to pick you up from your home and drop you off wherever you need to go. They also have "shoppers busses" that pick up several people and go to certain stores on certain days of the week at an even lower rate and they will help you on and off the bus with your groceries. I hope this helps! Good luck!
Yes!
Good question can you leave a messag?
Call during regular business hours and call center person would be more than glad to help you
Because either their phone is off or they are on air plane mode. Or out if the calling area.
Call Ride source
I need to go from Reedsport, Douglas County to Eugene, Lane County. Does Ride Source do that?
If you are covered by Oregon Health Plan, either open card or Trillium, and have transportation benefits then you should he able to get a ride as long as the appointment is covered by Oregon health plan
The call center opens at 8:00 AM, closes at 5:00 PM.
Only urgent rides sue to continuing bad weather. If you are unsure whether your ride would qualify please call the call center 541-682-5566.
Hi there! If you are using the mileage reimbursement program for your trips to treatment, you can be reimbursed $40 per night. I recommend calling for more details, as there are certain qualifications for how that works.
You can call after 11
If not covered by insurance, and you approved to ride, it's 3.50 for. Each wayb
At This Point, Do You REALLY Think That They Have ANY Intention Of Reimbursing You??? They're Giving You An Answer, That Will Get You Off Their Back For At Least Another Week!!! They Will Continue Giving You That Answer Until You Won't Accept It Anymore, & Then They Will Try Giving You Another Excuse For Not Reimbursing You, Hoping That You Will Accept It & Go Away Again!!! They Want You To Get Frustrated, & Just Stop Asking To Be Reimbursed!!! You Need To Grow A Pair, & Go Get Your Money Back!!!
Call the resource office are you in Eugene- Springfield ? The person who answers the phone can walk you thru the process -hrs are 8 am to 5 pm M-F. 541-682-5566
Yes I am. Don't need a ride today anymore thank you
Kori, yes; as long as you are in the Eugene-Springfield metro area and enroll with RideSource, rides can be given. Enrollment includes a physical assessment, so that the service knows your limitations. Rides are $3.50 each time you board a vehicle and must be scheduled at least a day in advance. Trips on this service go where you'd like to go, including grocery shopping, public libraries, or faith based worship services. In addition, if you are on the Oregon Health Plan, rides to OHP covered services are at no cost to you (the Oregon Health Plan pays for these trips), and that service area is larger: that covers the entirety of Lane county. Hope this helps!
They are open 8-5 pm
The cost is $3.50 each way. You need to be a client first. Ridesourse is for people who are unable to ride LTD city bus. Ridesource does rides in Eugene and Springfield. I am not sure where that place is located. It is for medical and non medical transportation if you qualify.
Phone system is down right now Phone company is working on it
Some time they take a bit to answer there phones. just try to call back if you can . I have found that mondays are a high call day . you can also leave your number and they will call you back. Have a fabulous day...... :)
OHP open card and OHP TRILLUM are excepted. Yes if you have a wheelchair they will assist you on and off the ride even door to door.
Somethings wrong cause they said no cards have been mailed and they don't know why.
That I'm honestly not sure I was only had to go to the main office once my normally get mailed to me cuz I call on the 20th of the month ahead of time for the next month
Well if you are doing just a medical appointment then yes Oregon Health Plan pays for it but if you have three or more in one month you can call ride source and ask them about a bus pass that will cover the whole month for free
Great way to see the doctor. Very helpful. Be aware you share rides. Drivers need to SLOW DOWN!
Yes your are eligible for transportation to and from doctor appts. However you have to call RideSource with your info and get an acct set up. After that to get a ride you have to call 24 hrs in advance to make the arrangements for the ride. There are no same day rides, you have to call the day before or sooner to make the ride. It is not a taxie service.
Yes if you have trillium
