Knowledgeable staff and great selection of pond plants. Very helpful.

We had recently bought a home that had an existing pond with Koi. As new pond owners we had little knowledge. The pump stopped working one day and I called The Water Shed for support. Initially everything was fine, phone customer service was good, they recommend to rebuild the pump, cost was $500 with labor but still less expensive than a new pump (above ground), and they said they warranty their work. Anyway the pump dies a few weeks later, I call back and they tell me I need to bring the pump in etc, I tell them I actually don’t want the pond anymore. Can they come and empty the pond, re-home the fish, or giveaway, and fill it for us. They tell me no problem, it was May and they said they are a little backed up right now but would send someone out to take care of this, 3 months have gone by, all the fish died. We used an aerator that we bought from Water Shed, not good enough. Water Shed never follows up. I call them last week and Jonathan the owner admits they dropped the ball, they got busy and forgot. Then proceeds to tell me they can no longer help me with draining the pond and filling. He offers to credit me the pump labor charges towards the pond filling with a landscaper he wants to refer to me. I say okay to all this, it’s now almost two weeks later again and I don’t have any referral to this landscaper or anyone calling me to follow up. Crooks! This place may be good if you want to pick up supplies but forget about them doing any service for you.

I got this lilly from them about a week ago, and it already Ihas multiple flowers blooming. I also got a tree that was about 25% of the price of other places and just as grown. They are incredibly knowledgable about water gardens, and plant placement. They have even revived fish that were thought to be dead. Easily the best spot in town for all things pond related.

We had a small pond that was more of a water garden than a pond. It had a waterfall that was never right. It was put in by landscapers. I had planned to redesign and correct this myself because it is so hard to find good contractors and workers who will do the project correctly and well. I was given a recommendation from a friend to try The Water Shed. After talking to Jonathan in the store, I decided to give them a shot. I could not be happier with the results. I would not have been able to do this as well as Jonathan and his crew. Their expertise shows in the final results. And the cost came in under his original estimate. My wife said this is the pond we wanted 10 years ago. Very happy. I am sitting in front of it with a glass wine right now listening to the waterfall and watching a few sparrows enjoy it also. Cheers to The Water Shed!

I know they sell fish, but neither of those are the best options for algea control. These folks can help you, but take a picture or sample of the algea. Best control option can depend on type of algea
the store is closed....but they come outside and help u with any and all questions
We really just stock the 4-8 inch koi but if you have a need then we can find you a koi. The spring is the best time because the koi will be out of dormancy.
