Great neighborhood bar. Close knit community. My mother and grandfather like to go her for Karaoke. However - my mother was promised a table for her birthday- and when I showed up- my mother had left because they gave her table away. Furthermore- a singer came on stage and yelled “Fu&K Joe Biden” and the majority of the audience applauded and yelled it back - many from the table that was supposed to be for my mother. People are who they are - I’ve always felt accepted and had a good time here. Maybe this was just a bad night - I don’t know - But I don’t feel comfortable here as a black man. Honestly. I love Tommy though- he’s cool- the bar tenders are cool- it’s just the environment- you never know what your surroundings are as a black- stay on your toes.
