Once again Tony came through. With the steel market the way it is these days and long lead times, Tony came up with options that are only 4 days out! Great service! Tony A. gave me a quote for a large amount aluminum tubing and got it done with good follow up and short lead time.

I've been taking metal scraps here for over 2 years. While I was unloading 800lbs of mixed aluminum, I lost my $120 Knife from Cold Steel in the mix of metal. I quickly came back to search for it and it was GONE. A little over a month later, I return with a load and the gentleman asked if I lost a knife awhile back. I quickly stated yes, and he said he found it in the pile and held onto it for the 6 weeks untill I returned. WHO DOES THAT?! I personally would of taken it after a few days of no return. But these guys are honest and genuine and you will have a hard time finding anyone else that would do that in this town. I was shocked and VERY grateful because the knife was a gift to me

I have come here twice so far and will return again. I like getting paid for stuff that I would normally take to the dump. The staff can be a little salty at times (my first time) but if you come knowing what you need to get done they provide a fine service. My first trip (last year) I had no clue what to do, the office staff kinda give you the "darn rookie" treatment when explaining they way things work...its pretty straightforward. This was not pleasant. On top of that I had several different type of graded metals and the employee at the time just graded it as one, this did not feel right. To make me feel worse you need to provide valid driver license and license plate number which does not give you the greatest feeling of trust. Yet, that was my first time. Today I came in with three grades and though I was prepared to point this out the attendant promptly helped me sort/weigh without any direction from myself, this was pleasant. I came into the office, they aren't much for small chat. I can get behind that. But I was prepared with my ID as this is a process the state demands, or at least that is what I could find out. Just the way she goes and it doesn't bug me now. I was promptly paid with no fuss and a receipt was provided at my request. So, all in all Pacific Steel is pretty straightforward in my opinion though be prepared to demand sorting for a proper accounting of you metals and thicken your skin if your new. If you are curious about their prices of specific grades you can view them in their office, they vary with the metal markets. Whether they are fair is beyond my research/care. As I said before the stuff I have is trash to me, getting compensated for it is pretty cool.
