This is an awesome beach, been coming here for 20 years. $15 toll fee per use or $195 for a year - unlimited usage. Isolated relatively flat beach, great for long runs and walks, surfing (wide open) - 10 miles of amazing usage beach!

My favorite beach is San Diego! Been going here for years. It's a little out of the way, all the way at the end of Coronado, but even on busy days, its not too crowded. I'll certainly be back to Silver Strand again.

Hi. I went 2 hours ago in this place, I was in car and I wanted to see the ocean just for 5 minutes ... I passed the little cottage (stop pay ...) and I came back immediately. Do I have to pay anything? Do you know if I'm in fine? thank you

Your supposed to at the pay station. But 5 min. I don't think will bankrupt the city. Said you have to pay to watch the ocean.
