This place does have a lot of fish the only problem is good luck trying to buy them there’s never anybody at the cash register and no one ever seems to come up and ask if you need help. The other day I was there during my lunch break and only had a short amount of time and no one asked me if I needed help and no one was ever available to cash register and I just had to leave. To be fair it’s not just a store this seems to be the way tropical fish stores are they that’s the problem with Javier is trying to open a business they just can never get it together right I had the same problem with brewery stores when I was brewing beer

Love this place, always a great experience and I love their selection of fish. Love how the owner of the store always takes the time to help me learn new stuff about the hobby.

I went here the other day (my first time) so the review isn’t super clear. But I thought that the few display tanks were gorgeous. They have a smaller selection of fish compared to the Aquatic Warehouse but either way I think it’s really cool. I think you guys need to up the level of care concerning the bettas because from what I can tell you guys just kinda stick them in a vase/cup and put a price tag. Also I’m pretty sure they’re priced by their beauty, not that that’s a bad thing. The selection of products in general is a little small but it seems to offer better products. A lot of seachem products, also i noticed you guys sell mostly rimless tanks. I think the variety of fish is super cool too.

Do not purchase your Aquatic plants from this store online. I spent $99.31 on their plants and did not get my value, a total waste of money. I purchased Tropica Riccia, which was shown to be in stock Online. It was not and reached out to substitute for another plant. I seen no issue there and picked a different moss. The Moss they sent was Brown and completely dried up, a dead plant. Also I purchased specifically the brand "Tropica" Staurogyne Repens and they sent a different Brand. Also to top it off I purchased the Tropica Marsilea Hirsuta Tissue Culture and it came in Brown and dying as well just like the Moss. A terrible purchasing experience to say the least. I had to re purchase these plants from Ebay. So I lost money and plants from this store. If you value your time and value healthy aquarium Plants I strongly advise purchasing your plants online from somewhere else. All they would do would as far as customer service would just be a store credit for One plant, because that plant came open in my package. Terrible all the way around. What a shame and what a total let down. If you are in the Market for 1 2 Grow Tropica Stay Away ! They will switch that brand on you or worse yet send you the Tropica bands but Brown and dying.

Yes, we carry a variety of different Arowanas at any given time at both our stores (we're located at Convoy District & Mid-City)
Yes they’re at both shops
Pet zone or pet kingdom, you'll find them there.
Hi John! Yes we have plenty of Flowerhorns. www.petzonesd.com/flowerhorns or visit any of our two shops here in San Diego.
Yes a few kinds
Social distancing, limitation on capacity of people inside the store, sanitizer provided throughout the store, surfaces frequently sanitized, masks must be worn by all visitors and teammates. We take covid very seriously here and do our best in keeping everyone safe and healthy!
yes we have some. they should be available either end of this week or early next week
They exclusively focus on freshwater planted tanks. They do carry a large selection of freshwater invertebrates like shrimp, crayfish, and crabs, but I don't think you'll find any saltwater invertebrates like octopus in this shop.
Call the store.
Not that I have ever seen. You can call them to see if they would be able to special order for you.
It varies species to species. You could do a nice little community tank in a 20 gallon.
