First time I came in a couple of years ago I felt really unwelcome and the person that helped me where extremely rude. I decided to give it another chance since I was in need of food assistance today. I schedule an appointment the lady lady that helped me thru the phone clearly told me to park in the back so I did. Since I saw no one coming out I am to the front and the person who opened the door was extremely rude to my husband. Literally crying in my car of how bad she made us feel for being late due to a misunderstanding. If you are here to help your community please learn to have compassion for the people you care for especially during this difficult time. Empathy goes a long way especially when your volunteering to help people in need. I will most likely be back due to need but not due to feeling helped.

I really needed help and you turned me away. It is so hard to ask for help to begin with. I don't normally leave reviews but I'm sitting in my car crying about how to feed my kids tonight and I had to say something.

We donate food here as often as we can. They accept the lemons and limes we grow in the backyard, frozen foods, and refrigerated goods too. Vons also donates to this location. They help so many people and I believe most of the people working here are community volunteers. Check their hours of operation before you go. Thank you for all you do!
