I had two free oil changes when I bought my vehicle from DuTeau. Every time I went for an oil change I went through a whole rigamarole to basically argue that my oil change should be free. Oil changes are only $90 but I know how to do them myself so why would I come if I get charged? I would have to push the people in service, the cashiers, then eventually call my salesperson to help out (mind you I called him off the clock which felt extremely rude). I'm convinced they just put me through this every time to see if I'll give up and just pay it instead.

I came in in March 2022 to order a 2022 Chevy Colorado ZR2 diesel. I knew what I wanted. Jeff helped me and put in the order. No one reached out with any status updates at all. There's no tracking mechanism given to the customer. Nothing. I did call a couple times to get status updates. Finally, 4 months later, the day it showed up Jeff contacted me and I came in a few days later to accept delivery. I did the financing, and then Jeff gave me the keys. He gave me a tour of the interior. That was pretty much it. Fast and painless. In some ways I appreciated the simplicity and no haggling. No one tried to sell me what they had on the lot. No deals. No upcharges. No "talking to the manager." I just paid MSRP directly from the factory. OTOH, a few missed opportunities. 1. No one ever reached out with any updates. It's weird to order a vehicle in March and just hear nothing for four months. 2. The financing person initially gave me 4.79% for 72 months. I protested that on the GM website the deal was 1.9% for 60 months. He said he "wasn't sure" but thought that was for 36 months. I insisted the GM site said 60 months. He then confirmed it and gave me the 1.9% for 60 months. Come on dude. You know the deals. Don't try to screw me. My credit score is 820. I know what I qualify for. With a well-qualified, savvy buyer just start with your best offer. 3. Jeff said he would call in a few days to see how things were going. He didn't. Jeff said he would order Chevy weather mats for me. He didn't. I finally ordered them myself. 4. There was never any discussion about a clear bra (PPF), tonneau cover, mats, or other accessories I had indicated I was interested in. In some sense, it's fine, I've done most of those myself now, probably for cheaper. But it would have been nice to hear what options they had. I ordered the PPF but am nervous to install it myself. Would have rather had the dealer do it. Seems like a missed opportunity for them to sell me some useful accessories. 5. I did call the dealer myself and ask about some of these accessories. The parts guy I talked to didn't seem to know that I could just order these on chevrolet.com and have parts shipped to them to be picked up for free. He kept insisting he needed to order them for me. I finally told him "nevermind." Overall, these experiences don't really give me much confidence in the dealer. Mostly it seems like they didn't care that much. I'll probably end up doing what I've done with other dealers I lack confidence in, which is do most of the maintenance myself, find a good mechanic for general repairs, and take only warranty/recall work to the dealer.

I had warranty work done on my Bolt for battery replacement. Jeffrey in service was great and knowledgeable. He called when the parts came in and got me scheduled. The work was done sooner than they estimated and promptly called me. Everyone at the dealership in service and the front were kind and attentive.

The sales man was great to work with. I test drove the truck before any shop inspections were performed and ended up purchasing it. Noticed the vehicle jack was laying on the floor rear of cab. When my truck was ready for me too pick it up I showed up at the dealership and not single person offered any assistance. The sales man had the day off and the keys were left n an envelope on his desk with my name on it. Upon getting the truck home and looking everything over found the jack missing. Contacted the sales man he stated that he would check with the used vehicle mechanic and get back to me. Haven't heard any in a month and a half now. So I guess once they make the sale you're on your own. Sales man name was Brian for those who are wondering.

Good
Yes, the vehicle will have to be diagnosed.
If you purchase a car, they can have it tinted for you. If you already have a car you want tinted, I would go to the Tint Shop on West O.
