This is place is right down the street from house. I've never used any other dumps but I will be now. Jim at the weight station is completely inconcsistent with his pricing and very rude if you question the price. I have been helped by many of the employees at the front and never turned away over $5.00. It was my third trip of the day and Jim just started his shift. It was the smallest load of the day and I couldnt believe it cost more than the others. I just dont understand where he was getting his pricing he offered no explanation just said I had to leave if I didnt have it.

It's a dump... so nothing special to report. They keep the lines moving and trash moved out of the way. Only complaint is I've been there twice in one day with exact same size trailer. ( even filled about the same) and I'm always charged a different amount. Once was $20, next trip was 25$. I don't feel like there is any rhyme or reason to the amount charged.

Everyone talks about price, price about River City, but it's all relative. To hear my wife not complain about the junk I dumped off was well worth it. BTW, the staff was more than helpful and courteous. It's all good!

I have used river city recycling more than 20 times and the pricing is very inconsistent. Sometimes i feel overcharged and some times i feel like i paid a fair price. Generally the staff has been friendly with me, though i have had a few bad encounters. Overall they are pretty clean for a dump and generally not too difficult to get in and out quickly though on occasion i have had some time constraints. 3 stars is my overall rating

Cardboard is free just go to the gate and tell them you just have cardboard, and they'll tell you where to go.
Well organized and reasonable rates
The only appliance type item they won't take are TV's & if you take in a refrigerator or air conditioner, you have to drain freon. The can't do it so it must be done for them to accept
Only parts of them. Put it on the curb with a free sign. It will be gone in 48 hors. The insides can be recycled & a lot do that these days. Otherwise you have to pay to get rid of it unless it's changed but I'm 98% sure they haven't
I don't know if they take paint. You would have to call them to find out. Sorry for not being better help.
I don't believe they close during the winter. Their open hours change slightly though...see wasteline.org
