today I was to receive a package. When I checked the tracking number it showed that the USPS delivery person could not deliver my package because "front door/driveway was not accessible". THIS IS A TOTAL LIE!!! My driveway has a gate but is never closed unless we are out of town which we were not and I was in the house so no reason they could not bring it to the house and place on the front porch like they always do. Tracking showed delivery was attempted at 5:30 pm and it was not yet dark. This has happened before and its always when delivery is on a Saturday. During the week days this never happens. There is absolutely NO reason the post office could not deliver my packages. I have a large mailbox and the package would have fit in the box which is right next to the driveway entrance if they did not want to bring to the door. This delivery person was just lazy and in a hurry so it is easier to lie and say not accessible. I have tried calling to complain but have never been able to get through to the Roseburg post office.

My amazon package was transferred to the USPS in Roseburg. I received an email stating that the USPS could not deliver my package because "front door/driveway was not accessible". LIE!!! Delivery is to my place of business. Large parking lot, even have handicapped parking by front door. Delivery attempt was at 6:47 pm. My store is open from 10am - 9pm. There is absolutely NO reason the post office could not deliver my packages!

Worst carrier I've ever used. Placed an order through Amazon, was supposed to be here last week. I have an apt complex and we have parcel locker for mail down stairs. On the tracking they said the item was to big for the locker. And instead of doing the logical thing and bring it to my door. They took it back to usps. Now it's impossible to get ahold of them. The phone rings for a Lil then nothing. Get it together usps...

I can relate to all the other reviews that say their mail service is terrible. Weve mailed packages that just disappear. We pay for 2 day mail service and the package can be sent to us from the east coast overnight only to fall into a dark hole in Roseburg. Twenty four hours to come from the east coast and 3 days to deliver in Roseburg. The carriers were not delivering packages to my house because they say it was to far from my box. Finally the post master came out a f measured it. We're just under the maximum. She said she would tell the carriers to start bringing the packages. We'll see how that works as I have zero faith in the management team having any control over their staff. They do what they want. Sad that it's gotten that bad.
