Very good reliable internet and helpful customer service!

Internet service is great, however, evidently I was "lied to" when my service was installed---I was told to use Ting's internet router because it would work better with their service. I was also told that the $9.00 a month rental would end after a year and the router would be mine. Now I am being told that there was no such offer and that Ting does not have a "rent to own" program. Really disappointing. Beware to all of you future Ting customers!!!

We’ve experienced great communication with customer service, our installation process was very quick and our internet service has been working great!

Such a massive difference from Northland, not only in terms of speed but service. Northland was out to our house 13 times to try to fix our service. The real problem was junction boxes down the street that had been run over by cars and snow plows and no one wanted to take responsibility and fix it. We paid for half limping along service for months before it finally worked. The address the issue with the review with the person saying they entered his house without permission.....that would be illegal trespassing and I can’t imagine them ever doing that. Any time they needed in our house they called and made arrangements. Otherwise how would they know you were home? That review sounds like a Northland plant. The biggest issue for me is Ting made a massive difference with was my videos to YouTube. I do a lot of trainings that need to be uploaded to YouTube/Vimeo. With Northland I would start them last thing before I went to bed and half the time they would get timed out mid upload. We are talking 3-30 minute videos here. Nothing crazy. But if they did take they would sometimes render with weird green bars across my face. Lovely. With Ting I go make a cup of tea and come back and they are uploaded. No green bars. No waiting overnight. I’ve never yet had a video fail. Tings customer service has also been wonderful. They called the night of the install to make sure everything was working and in order. We’ve never had them out again since. I went to go order checks from Costco Checks, backed by Harland Clarke and discovered Harland was blocking Tings IP addresses. Chatted in with tech support and Ting reached out to Harland Clarke and got the issue solved. I was very impressed. Overall it’s been a great experience and night and day from Northland who only seemed to care after Ting was already taking their market share. They called and offered us gig over gig the night before our Ting install but by then it was too late. And I might add that we got installation at the end of phase 2 so it wasn’t like Northland didn’t have time to step up their game. Overall Ting has just been fast, great customer service and zero downtime. I’ll gladly pay them $5 more a month than what I had with Northland for 10x the speed and employees who give a damn.

Hi Kayla, If you are looking to reach out to our customer support to get a hand with your Ting Internet the number you are looking for is 1-844-846-4994. They are available 24/7 and it's a toll free number. The number listed on this Google page is the warehouse number in Sandpoint.
While service is available in Sandpoint and Ponderay (and we're exploring Dover as well), we have not yet made any plans to head to Sagle. Never say never, but it is not on our current radar.
We do not have service in Sagle. We are only present in Sandpoint itself with future expansion to Ponderay. We may consider expanding to Kootenai and Dover down the line, but currently do not have plans to head down to Sagle.
Ting does not do "introductory pricing" or any other such gimmicks. We've offered the same pricing since Ting Internet began! We're also contract free, and we do not charge sales tax on the monthly plan itself. The only things to have tax are the purchase or rental fee of our wireless router.
If its regular "Cat5" then this may be limited to 100 Mbps speeds, as that standard was not designed for Gigabit. This would limit your customers to 1/10th of Ting's connection speeds at maximum. They MAY be able to achieve Gig speeds on a Cat5 cable if the cable run is short, but this is far from a guarantee. At the very least it should be "Cat5e" (an enhancement to the Cat5 standard, which can do Gigabit over most lengths) although many decide to choose Cat6 which can maintain Gigabit performance over length 100 ft+ runs and has more shielding against noise. Basically it has much stricter specifications when it comes to interference, and it's a bit more 'future proof'.
