Decent hospital at best. Really needs to step up it's code of conduct. Everyone I know in the area hates this place, resorting to driving to CDA for treatment, even in emergencies.

I've had to come to Bonner general off and on my entire life the quality of the hospital is getting worse and worse. They loose test results, don't keep track of patients they have there half the time and don't collaborate with other hospitals. I don't recommend coming here if possible.

Amazing staff especially at the Covid collection site. People often forget everyone is understaffed right now, and I appreciate Bonner General and all the employees who work hard to keep the community safe. Thank you to the lab and the hospital as a whole for everything you have done and continue to do.

I was treated Exceptionally thus far! I'll let ya know if I survive my Covid Pneumonia! Ok, follow up, I was in for 8 days, and overall, was handled quite well. Scarry when ya can't breath, Pneumonia is nothing to mess with!

Bonner's cardio department is good, but for an, "excellent" cardiologist (if, for example, you have a monthly checkup, or something similar) your best choice is the office of Dr. Kevin Kavanaugh in Coeur d'Alene (about an hour's drive south of Sandpoint).
I use Dr Stackow at Minimaly Invasive located at NW Specality Hospital in Post Falls, ID. He is the "hernia man"of N Idaho / Spokane area. I don't know about this [Bonner General] hospital surgeons.
Yes, there's CT scan services @ Bonner General Hospital. Their entire Radiology Department is Top Notch! After a recent fall I was diagnosed with an unusual ankle fracture that often goes unseen on X-Rays. I was seen by the orthopedic surgeon on a Tues., all pre-op labwork EKG + Covid-19 test were completed & I was booked for surgery on Thurs. AM ! All staff were Professional, Kind, Caring + Efficient. After growing up and living in Boston, MA with all the well known Teaching Hospitals there, I was not disappointed by any of the care I have received at Bonner General Hospital.
