Great place for my elderly friend with beginning dementia! They are so kind and attentive, and have several extra services available for a reasonable charge. The facility is clean, welcoming, and the food is very good. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

Although the building is not new or fancy, Shorewood is filled with wonderfully kind and caring employees. My mother is a resident and makes repeated comments about how helpful and sweet the chef and servers in the kitchen, the people responsible for weekly cleaning, and especially the activity director have been to her. The executive director forever has my admiration and gratitude for her determination and relentless quest to provide the residents the earliest possible opportunity to receive the Covid vaccines. Staff members have been extraordinarily accommodating for my mother’s needs, and focused on doing whatever is best for her physical and mental welfare. Not only the staff, but a number of the residents have truly taken my mother under their wing. It may not be a beautiful and impressive building, but Shorewood has an amazing personality.
