The food is absolutely delicious! And our waitress was very efficient, and friendly. This is a great place to get some really great BBQ. Wait until you taste their cornbread and mashed potatoes - you'll be thinking about, and craving them, within a couple of days!

The service was great, our waitress was so nice. However the food was absolutely terrible. We spent over $60 to have the most disappointing food which I was not expecting. We love the famous Dave's chains and usually the food does not disappoint. My mashed potatoes were incredibly stale tasting. Our briskets were bland and tasted old and my corn on the Cobb was mushy. So disappointing.

We are driving through in our rv traveling from the west coast back to the east coast and thought some GOOD BBQ would be a great treat. But after eating here at Famous Dave’s we won’t be having BBQ again for a while!! Everything we had was way over cooked and SUPER DRY!! We can’t recommend this place due to it being the worst restaurant during our trip!! Very disappointed. The only good thing they had was the waitress and the corn muffins. Ps. If you’ve ever ate a good Brisket DO NOT order the brisket here it was the furthest thing from juicy and was 100 percent old and not fresh what so ever.

Was unable to give zero stars. I dont know what Dave is famous for but it can't be BBQ. I'm from central Texas and wouldn't feed this "stuff" to my dog. First of all were is the smoke??? There was no smoke and no smoke smell so you have to ask, where is the smoke flavor from or how old is this meat??. Beans were full of sugar, cornbread full of sugar, asked for pickles and onions sugar sugar. I had the "Texas" brisket, that is not how we cook brisket. I think it was baked in the oven. Had a weird texture. The only thing that was good was the sweet tea, other than that yuck!!!!!!!!! Go to McDonald's or Wendy's just anywhere else.
