My son and I love fishing there, for what you think is a small pond behind a sporting goods store, there are some nice fish in there. If you have a pontoon or raft or stand up paddleboard it goes a lot farther back.

No motor-driven boats are allowed. What did you have in mind?
I hope you are enjoying Joel's Pond. It was restocked a few years ago by MT-FWP with bass, carp, bluegill and pumpkinseed. However, the pond is refreshed from time to time with water from the BBWA canal, which also lets in some transients. A walleye was caught earlier this year.
It is hard lately not to hear the loud croaking of bullfrogs, an unwelcome invasive species that has exploded in the area over the last decade. If you can, try to gig them. I am told they are delish.
Yes but so far have only seen people catch sunfish
