This was once a beautiful place with fantastic rose gardens, Now since Jean Stothert has been our so called mayor for what seems like an endless eternity the place has gone to Hell and is nothing but neglected, they tore out the rose garden they do NOTHING to fix the GIANT holes in the street, they have cut down most of the beautiful evergreens Haven't replaced any of the 50 plus trees they hacked down. Typical of Jean Stothert She cares NOTHING about South Omaha except pandering to the Hispanic community for votes.

Beautiful outdoor venue for wedding. Tents to cover guests were great because we had some rain during the service.

One of my favorite photography spots! I love how well maintained the flowers are! Some of the benches are a little old, but I really enjoy this gem! It’s one of my favorite spots to bring clients!

The park itself was great, couldn't have asked for a prettier spot in downtown Omaha for our wedding. The city department to work with the parks was a little disorganized. One particular woman was quite rude to my wife over the phone, and they didn't do the best job of communicating. But, keep in mind you're renting a city park, not a bonafide wedding venue. The service isn't going to be the same.
