Great local "dive" bar. The staff is always friendly. The regulars are always welcoming when we walk through the door. Darts, pool, and tvs for entertainment. Cash only bar so come prepared, or be willing to oay the ATM fees.

Was there a week ago with a friend, who was verbally attacked for speaking his opinion with some other patrons. My friend was only speaking his mind when he was being screamed at. My friend tried to back up from the situation when a man got in his face and started screaming at him. Not only was the man doing so, the other patrons at the same table were also screaming at him. Some random patron who is not even a worker there came into the situation with the bartender who immediately told my friend to leave who had done nothing wrong at all! Since when does having the freedom to speak equal getting kicked out for doing nothing wrong! Absolutely pathetic in my opinion!

I like dive bars but the older bartender (I'm told her name is Denise) was beyond demanding about immediately being paid for drinks even though my friend that ordered them was in the bathroom. She wouldn't wait and made me feel like it was my responsibility to pay for his order! Then came back to the table when I didn't give her a tip. It wasn't even my drink order!!! I left a tip, drinks untouched, racked pool table left untouched, and walked out with her ridiculing me for not tolerating the disrespectful treatment that I was given. The rule is when you give respect you get respect, but you can't demand respect by being disrespectful. I'm glad that she did, otherwise, I wouldn't have found The Sociable Inn only a few blocks away. A much cleaner, friendlier, upscale small town bar than what I just left.
