Loved this place! Super chill, nice big sites, and close to hot springs! Nice foliage too. Felt like Jurassic park. Very cute little frogs at the stream!

When I got to the campground I was told that the site I reserved had been claimed by someone else. Luckily there was another campground down the road which they let me have for no extra charge, and a free bundle of wood. Not a bad experience, but really wish they wouldn't have given my reserved site away

I wouldn't say easy. That's one long ride. All dirt road back country. I'm sure it would be worth the ride. Check with McKenzie River Ranger station for detail..
