This place actually does have potential. They make tugboats. On a professional level they have what you need for ppe and follow osha guidelines. However These people should be using solid wire, not fluxcore. Also, they should do a first class weld test day of the interview to save time and a headache. I got hired thinking I'd be doing just fillet welds. But knowing half bevel 1/2" steel welding with fluxcore is a must. Great location, beautiful view.

Just the whining and crying of W&D employees.
Someone new to the welding trade would start around $15-16/hr. A welder with a few years of experience can probably start around $20/hr. Personality and work ethic play just as big a part as skill. We want a company of good and respectable employees who take pride in what they can do.
