I thought for a man cave stand-in it was great. It's always fun.

I haven't been there but my friend loves it.

Thank you to Manchester Makerspace for hosting our Girl Scout Cadette Troop woodworking Badge. Todd was very helpful, patient and accommodating. The facility is neat and clean; everyone there was following Covid precautions. What a wonderful place for the community to use!

Manchester Makerspace is a way to have access to several large, well equipped workshops and knowledgeable craftsmen and women, without having to spend a lot of money. If you want to learn how to use the equipment, classes are offered. Some classes are free for members, while others are reasonably priced, and also offered to nonmembers. The standard membership fee is $65/month, but there are discounts for automatic payments and for veterans.

Mask use plus every machine requires eye and possibly additional face protection. There is disinfectant throughout the space for tools and hands. People distance as well as coordinate with each other over slack when to come in and use various pieces of gear.
Yes, there is a woodshop with multiple lathes, table saws, etc. I'm not a woodworker so I can't get into fine detail but the shop seems well appointed compared to other makerspaces I've been to. There is an open house on Mondays if you would like a tour.
