In Short...Great experience. Would recommend and use again for certain. In Long...My family of four flew out of New Haven to Orlando and back on Avelo. Flight times got changed a little, but weeks before we left, so plenty of time to make arrangements. Flights themselves were great and crew members were courteous. Had a missing checked bag on the way home, that was recovered the next day without issue. Staff at airport and Avelo were great to work with in recovery. Love the smaller airport that is so close to home. I'm not a bells and whistles type person, just basic needs, and this airport is perfect for that. Do not bring in any water or beverage, as you will end up dumping it out before the gate. No snacks or drinks offered on the plane, but it's a short flight anyhow. There is a concession stand in the airport, so you can buy snacks and beverages for the ride.

I was pleasantly surprised with the staff at Tweed especially the security!! Everyone was so kind and helpful. No one yelled or demanded you do something. Bradley can seem like basic training. Thank you to the wonderful lady who was so patient with my daughter and her lotion issue. You know who you are and you were awesome. We will be back for sure. Thanks for making a crazy morning manageable.

I recommend Tweed New Haven Airport! Tweed started to do direct flights to 6 Florida city’s with Avelo Airlines. The price is right, and the airport is easy, I was in and out, no big lines. The airport is small, but Tweed has plans to expand and the airport will be adding more destinations this year. I flew out of tweed and went to Tampa. And I will do it again ✈️

I have to say my experience overall in the airport is fantastic. The process of checking in and dropping off luggage was super easy. The personal thought out the airport are super friendly. The reason why is missing 1 star is because the airplane is very small and the seats are very tight(extra tight) and uncomfortable. I had paid to seat on the window which is a bad idea if you are not traveling with a known person. I had a give out my seat to seat alone with another person but this time separated by the middle seat. Other than that everything was great👍👍👍
